Tell Your Story—

If you or a loved one has been incarcerated because of cannabis, or you’ve lived in fear because of cannabis policing, we want to help tell your story. 

While 420 Portraits normally holds live portrait sessions, we’ve now switched to online portrait sessions (for example) with our photographers. If you’re interested in an online session, please fill out the form to the right.

We also welcome and encourage self-submissions anytime. You deserve to tell your story, your way. See below for more details.

Self-submission guidelines:

Your story: In your own words and voice, tell us how the War on Drugs has negatively impacted your life and the lives of those around you with as much detail as you’re comfortable sharing. There is no length requirement or limit.

Your picture: Pictures should frame your face closely, be natural not posed, and a neutral background is ideal. Selfies or portrait/professional shots that meet those guidelines are welcome. See example here.

We take your privacy seriously. Once submitted, we’ll contact you to confirm before posting, and will never share your information with another party.
